I have nothing against wading birds Jan, but this was a mistake by the sub editors. It must be a quote from another Times writer they have linked to my column. Will try to get it fixed soon.

"It’s unfashionable, but shooting a fox or catching a stoat is good for wading birds."

I don't understand this quote.

The depth of apparent corruption being revealed on an almost weekly basis is showing clearly the tangible links that are crippling Glasgow City Council and show without doubt just how intertwined Labour have become with the council.

Increasingly the shadowy figures of spin behind Scottish Labour are becoming the story as they petulantly lash out to protect their own or charges mistakes.

The sooner this is unravelled the better democracy and transparency will be for the council tax paying citizens of Glasgow.
