Love this spoof from Calum Cashley. It wasn't his idea first, but as someone once said, good poets steal. Much had been made of the role of the internet and viral campaigning in this election. I enjoyed this piece from The Telegraph on how the anarchic power of cyberspace could decide the election - particularly as the writer talks up the power of bloggers. Mainstream political party machines are too buttoned up and frightened of being politically correct. Many stories that will make the campaign will come from online activity by freestyle political activists. How geared up is Scotland? I hope our vibrant community of political bloggers starts getting creative and remembers that humour works better than anger. The Tories are having debate parties on the night of the leader's telly thing. What will the SNP do? I would suggest a live internet stream which allows Salmond to interject/contribute to the debate. Technologically, it's perfectly possible. And it could generate a lot of excitement in the mainstream media as well. Whatever they do it should be funny, left field and imaginative. Like Calum's poster.

Just realised that I didn't note that it wasn't my work! It was sent to me rather than created by me. After a wee chuckle I put it up.

Since the MSM is so hostile we only have the internet to get our message out there and its cheap and cheerful.
