Great article and I hope you didn't mind me linking your article (Slaughter of the cyberNats) to my own article on it yesterday..

I agree, it is hypocrisy considering both bloggers in question were not putting out stuff on behalf of the party yet its been bounded about as if it was some sort of Macbride.

Scottish Nat supporting bloggers like myself might be a wee bit more critical of opponents and the MSN than others but I think its out of pure frustration that we don't have a Nat supporting MSM paper.

I have always said I would rather the MSM remain neutral but that will never happen.

Indeed someone like Guido can come out with some horrendous stuff and get away with it then we have the likes of Wardog who probably only around a few hundred people at most new about yet he was hung out to dry by the MSM. It was an attack on the SNP rather than Wardog but he was the peapod in the middle.

As a party the SNP have not been embroiled in Scandal like other parties so the MSM needs to go looking for it, even if it means small time bloggers being caught in the middle.

The case with Montague is a little different because of his position but a Damien Macbride? Never in a million years..
