Have a look at these amazing stills by my friend Jana Prchalova, who is making an animated movie with the Scottish company once were farmers.
Jana is from the Czech Republic and trained as an illustrator before going on to specialise in animation. Prague is celebrated for its animation talent and Jana was trained the traditional way, learning to animate frame by frame. Scottish Screen funded a placement with digital animators once were farmers and are underwriting their movie, Mondo. I have seen lots of other articles bigging up really poor animation that has none of Jana's attention to detail or senstive imagination. I predict she will become Scotland's Hayao Miyazaki. Last year her and I went to the Scottish BAFTAs together. Next year she'll be at the Oscars! Here is the contact for anyone interested in Jana's work. And here is another treat.
